Padua

When you think of this elegant city, where even the great Galileo Galilei was hosted as a university professor, the first things that come to your mind are the precious Scrovegni Chapel -entirely frescoed by Giotto- and the Basilica of Sant'Antonio -which houses the relics of one of the most loved saints in the world-.

But Padua is not just this. The many suggestive squares, the elegant palaces, the canals that cross it, the imposing churches and the museums full of treasures witness what it can offer. In a day trip do not miss the suggestive square of Prato della Valle with its canal and the 78 statues surrounding it as well as the Botanical Garden which houses over 7000 different essences.
